Respect their space. Don’t hang around their window all day long or sleep on the pavement outside their house in your attempt to show your devotion. Clinging to your ex never helps. Learn to respect their privacy and try to arrange a meeting if you want to speak with your ex. Invite them to their favorite place and talk out your problems.

You want the other person to be reminded of how you were the best thing in their life so trying to make them jealous is not a good idea. This might give them the idea that you have moved on and whether they want to or not, they still might try to do the same. This technique will only end up hurting you so it’s best to avoid this approach.

While you are in the process of trying to get your partner back, do not flirt with other people and let it stay that way even after you’ve got him or her back. You might not mean anything by the flirting but it’s not really the best thing to do when you are already committed to someone else. Imagine how you would feel if they did the same to you. Try to put yourself in their shoes. Once you feel what they are feeling, then you’ll be able to do the right thing and get him/her back.
